Students will be at the lab at Avery, practicing for the midterm.
Students will go over the final study guide. The final exam will be on June 15-16th. Please let me know if you won't be here.

You need to know how to conjugate:
Ser, estar, ir, tener, one regular –ar verb, one regular –er verb and one regular –ir verb

b)You will be given a word bank, and must know how to translate sentences about things you like or things that hurt
You must be able to write a conversation and ask someone their name and give yours, ask them how they are feeling and say how you are feeling

Students finished their Spanish trip project that is due on Monday, June 6th.

Students took the test on doler and gustar. They will get one retake, and I will keep the higher grade.
They then learned how to conjugate regular, er and ir verbs:

Doler = to hurt (same form for gustar)
Me duele(n) el/la/los/las….. = ….. hurts me.

We went over the verbs gustar and doler, which are different than normal verbs, since they do not use subject pronouns (Yo, tú, él...). Students had worksheets to do, a practice body parts quiz, and played Kahoot.
Gustar = to like
Doler = to hurt

Students worked on their monster picture, labeling it, writing a paragraph describing it, and making body flash cards. We also played Kahoot. It is all due by Monday, May 9th.
Students worked on various family tree worksheets to practice for the family test. They also played Kahoot with family vocabulary.
On Monday, they had a vocab quiz on the family. This can be retaken numerous times. On Friday they will have a test on the family, answering questions on a family tree and translating sentences about the family tree. The test can only be retaken once.
